Toddler yoga at the daycare center

Discovering through play

Moving together, relaxing and having fun

Toddler yoga helps young children develop body awareness, balance and self-confidence through play. But most of all, it is a class full of fun and connection!

Learning through play

At daycare!

Toddler yoga at daycare is a playful and relaxing way for young children to move, explore their breath, and find calm. The classes are tailored to their world of experience and support motor skills, concentration, and self-confidence.

“Great course on toddler yoga! Educational and useful at the daycare center. I came home full of inspiration!”

About the lesson

Yoga is about feeling, discovering and being yourself. In these toddler yoga classes we playfully introduce them to movement, breathing and relaxation. Toddlers learn to know their bodies, set limits and discover how nice it is to move without performance pressure.

We use stories, songs and games to make yoga accessible to toddlers. Toddler Yoga provides children at an early age with a valuable tool to find peace and security in a world full of stimuli. But above all, this class is about having fun with your child!

Would you like to offer toddler yoga at your nursery or playgroup? Or a workshop for staff members? Please contact Anna for the possibilities.

About the teacher

Namaste! I am Anna van Hattem.
In 2018, I completed the children’s yoga training at Helen Purperhart’s Children’s Yoga Academy. Since then, I have enjoyed teaching yoga to toddlers at daycare centers and in Parent & Child classes at Anna’s Yoga Tree.

My classes are playful and structured, but also provide plenty of space for individual children. Toddlers are never forced to participate, but invited with enthusiasm. In addition to children’s yoga, I also teach classes for adults and am immersed in physical therapy.
