Types of yoga classes

Then Gentle Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga or Restorative Yoga are great options to get started in an accessible way. These classes are low in intensity and give you the space to move at your own pace.

Looking for more physical challenge?
Then Flow Yoga is a great choice. This class is dynamic, energetic, and involves plenty of movement. Hatha Flow Yoga is also suitable if you're looking for a mix of action and relaxation.

Already have yoga experience and feel fit?
Then you can join any class. Choose what feels good for you and fits your current needs.

Hatha Yoga at Anna's Yoga Tree is a combination of traditional Indian yoga with insights from Western physical therapy. In Hatha Yoga, you seek relaxation in effort. You work on strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation. A class is a combination of vigorous and relaxing exercises. If you prefer to take it a little slower or only with women, you can also choose to join one of our classes. Gentle Hatha Yoga

Yin Yoga is the counterpart to Yang forms of yoga, such as Hatha yoga. In Yin Yoga, you stay in a pose longer. As a result, you feel more stretch and not only do you get more flexible muscles but there is also an effect on connective tissue. As the muscles release, the brain also gets a signal, allowing you to experience deep relaxation.

FAQs

Participation & accessibility

Sure, anyone can practice yoga! At Anna's Yoga Tree, the groups are small. There is lots of personal attention and you can adjust the poses to your body. Gentle Hatha Yoga or Yin Yoga are the most accessible classes to start with, but you are welcome in any class. You can also opt for private lessons, which start at 35 euros per 30 minutes. But always check if your medical practitioner thinks it's a good idea as well and let the teacher know what she can take into account.

No, yoga classes are not religious. Anna's classes are inspired by Indian yoga philosophy and Western physical therapy.

If you have your own mat, bring it with you. Wear clothes in which you can move easily. Yoga is done barefoot. In winter, bring thick socks and a vest for the final relaxation. Possibly a bottle of water. Don't have your own mat?  You can use a studio mat.

Online live lessen

Beeldinstellingen in Zoom:

Handige sneltoetsen:

  • Microfoon aan/uit: Alt + A

Cancellation and catching up

Sign out in the booking system within the cancellation period. You can then make up your missed class in another class during the validity of your credit. You do this by booking that class.

Bring a friend on your credit! * Send an email to Anna’s Yoga Tree with the class in which you are bringing someone. You will then be double enrolled for that class.

* Bringing a friend is a favor, not a right. It is explicitly intended for catching up on missed classes and is not intended for two people to use a season ticket
